TBN was founded in 1972 with offices in Las Vegas, Grand Rapids and San Diego. Talent Buyers Network is the largest outsource of showroom entertainment in the country currently buying over $25 million annually in live entertainment for fairs, festivals, casinos and corporate events. Our History
Doug Brown and Brian Knaff founded Good Music Agency, Inc. in 1972. Over the past quarter century, the management and staff of GMA provided a full range of agency services including talent booking, artist development and management, event production and recording services through Metro Studios (a state-of-the-art recording facility built and launched by GMA in 1987).
Good Music Agency, Inc. secured numerous major label recording and publishing agreements while managing the careers of international recording artists. Throughout the years, GMA maintained a diverse talent roster of more than 125 exclusive bands while training a substantial number of agents who now oversee the music industry, executives like Chip Hooper (Monterey Peninsula Artists), Ron Baird (Creative Artists Agency), Keith Miller (William Morris Agency), Steve Hoiberg (Monterey Artists), John Dittmar (Pinnacle Entertainment) and others, all played a role in the colorful history of GMA.
In 1996, GMA established Talent Buyers Network, a unique buyer-oriented agency dedicated to serving the outsourcing needs of specific venues and events. Now representing the exclusive interests of entertainment buyers, TBN currently purchases over $25 million annually in live entertainment for fairs, festivals, casinos and corporate events. TBN also provides services for other venues including performing arts centers, dinner theaters, amphitheaters and private parties. Combined.
